THE NIGHT FAVOURED BLUE
The Sunday night was packed with action for the sports fans, as the finales were lined up in Hyderabad and London. On one side it was finale of 10th edition of IPL between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergaint, a treat for cricket fans. While football fans were waiting for Premier League Final between Chelsea and Sunderland. But little did we know that, the night will prefer Blue on both venues.
19:30 IST, stage was set for football in London. Even though the first goal of the game was scored by Javier Manquillo of Sunderlan, just 3 minutes into the game, it was paid back by Willian, at 8th minute. Afterwards there was no turning back for Chelsea. They went on scoring spree with goals on 61st, 77th, 90th and even 90+2nd minutes of the match. Chelsea lifted the trophy for the 5th time in the history of tournament with it final score of 5-1 over Sunderland. This win marked the 30th win in the premier league for Chelsea. The Finale also marked the perfect farewell for the Chelsea and former England captain John Terry, as he ended his 22 years old career.

20:00 IST, Chelsea and Sunderland were equals and it was time for us to juggle between finales of Primier League and Indian Primier League. IPL finale, a nail-biting encounter won by Mumbai on the very last ball and by very last run of the match. Mumbai engraved their name on this trophy for 3rd time in 10 years.
Mumbai Indians batting first, collapsed one by one until Krunal Pandya came to save the day, and set the target of 130 runs for Pune. Pune started their innings well and time started favouring "Purple". But it was a night destined for Blue. Chelsea had won and Mitchell Johnson came to bowl the final over when only 11 runs were needed. Still achievable for RPS. First ball of the over was hit for 4 and now 7 needed from 5, and Johnson showed a sheer class by taking wickets of Manoj Tiwari and Steve Smith on back to back balls. And when 4 runs were needed on last ball, MI fielder didn’t give any opportunity of tie. Blue won the close match by just one run. Defending such a low total was the big challenge for MI but they did it!! Proving the world how to get over the nerves. The match also proved that nothing can be said about who is the winner until the last ball is bowled.

This was not the first time that this coincidence has happened. In 2015 also, when Chelsea finished as table toppers to lift the premier league trophy, Mumbai Indians too won IPL. So, it was like history repeating itself as night favoured the Blues again...
Really Nice 😍 .

After IPL even real madrid won their la liga title
Yes, the only reason Real Madrid are not in this article is, they don't wear Blue ;)
