Football, a sport that is played with maximum madness. A sport that is an emotion at entire different level. This awesome sport has arrived in India. No, we are not speaking about playing football but hosting an important event. India has never been at the centre stage in Football but now the time is changing. India has been chosen to organise the event of international importance for the very 1st time. After the successful seasons of Indian Super League, India is all set to host Under 17 Football World Cup, 2017. So, it’s a perfect time to say, Football, welcome to India.
The brilliant performance by Indian Skipper, Sunil Chhetri, successfully caught the attention of all Indians. This helped in turning eyes of whole world to India as well. Which is just in time for Indian Football. All the attention and support that is needed for Football in a sports loving country like India is being provided and there is no shred of doubt that this event is going to be a successful one. This tournament will also prove as a very positive turn for Indian Football. The matches will be played in 6 different stadiums in 6 different towns. Kolkata, new Delhi, Guwahati, Navi Mumbai, Margao and Kochi. These 6 cities along with entire nation will be in total celebration mood with this Football festival.
The war for the cup between the World’s Top 24 teams will be nothing but the sheer entertainment packed with a lot of action and emotions. It’s a tournament that provide stage for the future of the game. Not just Indian but all the future Football stars will be coming in front of the world. This tournament will be truly a leap in future as Women referees will be introduced in Men’s match for the first time, which is another attraction of this event. The tournament is to be held between 6th-22nd October. Top 24 teams in the world are taking part in this event. Other 23 teams have arrived in India. And tournament is about to kick off. The 22 days of this madness will be kicked off with the match between Colombia and Ghana. So, India, get ready for football and support our boys.
